MDes Project

The team developed a self-aligning hand grip that aligns with respect to the user's hand which can be used in walkers, walking sticks and other types of equipment along with a concealed mechanism based on the insights gained from interviewing participants using a questionnaire tool developed at C4D, Cranfield by Saiba Quqandi PhD candidate in design as part of the MDes group project

The team got an opportunity to present the ideas at Blum UK and test them using the age-explorer types of equipment. Valuable insights were given by the experts at Blum UK.

B-Tech Project

The team developed a multi-dimensional static amateur rocketry test rig capable of testing rocket motors of different diameters and lengths as part of the B-Tech Group project. 

It had camera mounts, load sensor and temperature sensor mounts, and a unique rocket motor holding unit, all of which were placed on a sliding track. The test rig could be easily dismantled and assembled, and its simple design made it easily portable.
